Brace yourself for The Dunwich Horrors, our collection of regionally-crafted short form horror. This amuse-bouche sampling features heartstopping bursts of terror that draw you deep into the darkness. We’ll journey into the dense forest where the trees bear the weight of past atrocities, descend into the basement of a mad woman’s home to find something even more sinister dwelling below, and take a hazy trip into a traumatized mind beset by witches. These and others tales offer stunning discourse reflective of our collective anxieties, and cathartic release from the real horrors clamoring right outside our doors. New England thrives as a hub for truly provocative and innovative work and BUFF proudly provides this platform for emerging voices to share their nightmarish visions with an audience that craves it. Throughout the program’s tenure, our intrepid creators have continually expanded the borders of the genre, fueled by New England’s distinctively eerie landscapes, offbeat storytelling, and a tireless work ethic. Once we’ve exposed you to the dark underbelly of the Nor’east, you’ll never be the same.
