We’re gathering again in-person to celebrate the strange, the unusual, and the overlooked.
Please lend your support and grab a festival badge!
Badges grant the badgeholder entry to all BUFF 2026 festival screenings from March 18-March 22, 2026. Perfect for the cineaste looking to binge 5 days of movie madness. They also grant entry to BUFF’s after-parties.
Badgeholders will have an opportunity to select tickets prior to the general public (within a limited window).
Only a limited amount of badges are available!
BUFF 2026 Tickets
General tickets are $18 each ($16 for students/seniors/Brattle members) — special screenings are $25 each.
BUFF will announce the schedule by March 7th; badgeholders will be able to select films before ticketing opens up to the general public on March 10th.
You will be able to buy tickets from the film pages on our schedule or from the Brattle Theatre website.

Badges grant the badgeholder entry to all BUFF 2026 festival screenings at immense savings plus entry to BUFF after-parties.
Badgeholders also have the ability to make advance selections before tickets are released to the General Public.
The full schedule will be announced by March 2nd.
Preselection for badgeholders will begin on February 18th.
General tickets go on sale on March 4th. They will cost $18 each ($16 for students/seniors/Brattle members) — special screenings will be $25. You can buy tickets from each film’s page on the BUFF schedule or directly from the Brattle Theatre’s website (when they go live).

No! You will be emailed info about your comped festival badge before tickets go on sale. Watch your inbox!
Yes. Festival parties will be limited to BUFF paid badgeholders and comped badgeholders (attending filmmakers, accredited press, and VIP guests).
No — physical badges pertain to accessing the BUFF after-parties only.
Theatre/screening access is handled digitally via the email address you provided, either:
- when you purchased a badge via the Brattle’s website -or-
- when you registered and were approved as accredited press -or-
- when you registered to attend the festival as a participating filmmaker
