You are currently viewing NIGHTSTREAM 2020

In case you haven’t heard, Boston Underground Film Festival, Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, North Bend Film Festival, The Overlook Film Festival, and Popcorn Frights Film Festival have teamed up for a collaborative virtual festival experience called NIGHTSTREAM running from October 8-11, 2020; select films and event recordings will also be available through October 14th via VOD.

We’re screening over 40 feature films, 160+ short films, and hosting 25+ special events/panels. Check it all out on the festival’s virtual platform, Eventive.

Read what the Hollywood Reporter, the Boston, and WBUR have to say about what we’re doing.

NIGHTSTREAM is also a fundraiser event; all proceeds go directly to the artists and filmmakers involved, as well as to the five festivals that comprise NIGHTSTREAM, to recoup losses incurred by COVID-19, and to charities and small businesses local to each fest. BUFF will be making its charitable contribution to the Brattle Theatre!

Consider buying a film badge — the festival is open to the entire United States!
Located outside the US? You can still check out our robust program of special events and panels with an Events-only badge, whose highlights include a 20th Anniversary Celebration of AMERICAN PYSCHO with director Mary Harron, a 25th Anniversary Celebration of Tales From the Hood with Rusty Cundieff, a Virtual Fireside Chat with Nia DaCosta, and so much more!
