Since its inception in 2001, the Boston Latino International Film Festival (BLIFF) has been committed to using the power of film to break stereotypes, bring cultures and communities together and reveal the complex issues that affect the Latinx community in the United States, Latin America and Spain.

We are proud to co-present this powerful pair of documentaries:

CABALLERANGO

As economic and social conditions become dire, a wave of suicides among young people disrupts life in a small Mexican town. CABALLERANGO presents a reflection on the reconfiguration of rural life in México.

EL CUARTO REINO

Directed by Alex Lora, Adán Aliaga
‘El Cuarto Reino’ is the kingdom of plastics, a redemption center in New York for underdogs and illegal aliens, where the reality of the American Dream is just another existential question or a cosmic mystery.
