Hey, hey, it’s Free Museum Day! This Memorial Day, stop by The Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston (ICA) to enjoy free admission and to catch a very special program of curated short films, courtesy of BUFF!
On Monday, May 27th, the doors of the ICA open to all from 11AM to 4PM for a day of mind-expanding, boundary-pushing work from the vanguard of contemporary art, featuring: John Akomfrah: Purple (at the ICA Watershed), Ragnar Kjartansson: The Visitors, ICA Collection: Entangled in the Everyday, Nina Chanel Abney, and more!
In tandem with the closing day of the Huma Bhabha: They Live show, BUFF has curated a program of dark sci-fi short films from its archives, inspired by the artist’s work, which will be screening on a loop at the museum throughout the day.
